Conn Smythe Trophy - Awarded to the most valuable tweeter during the playoffs
Sens Mile (@sensmile)
The Sens finally won a round, meaning Sens Mile got to be loud and proud for the first time in six years! Just take a look at the picture and video below!
Art Ross Trophy - Awarded to the tweeter who gains the most followers during the season
Erik Karlsson (@ErikKarlsson65)
Not much of a competition this season when the former Norris Trophy winner decided to make his appearance on Twitter... "I am who i am and will never change that" #lalala
Calder Memorial Trophy - Awarded to the top Twitterverse rookie
Chet Sellers (@chet_sellers)
Like JG Pageau, Chet Sellers did not appear in the big leagues until late in the season. However, he quickly made an impression with every tweet offering a comedic Sens touch unmatched by any Twitter user. In no time he found himself with over 600 followers. This led to him being offered an entry level contract to write for BonksMullet.com where he is now able to expand his thoughts beyond 140 characters.
This tweet came after Zibanejad's good goal after Montreal:

Radek Bonk's Mullet (@BonksMullet)
RBM came out of nowhere this season to take the Twitterverse by storm! He began with what was arguably the most popular blog piece this season "An NHL Ice Rink Broken Down: Ottawa Senators Edition". He began one of the Sens major twitter trends early in the season with #guyet. However, he soon one upped himself by starting the #Rihannaing trend which would continue throughout the regular season and playoffs.
#Rihannaing: The only way to get the #Sens out of their slump. twitter.com/BonksMullet/st…However, his greatest accomplishment this season was the starting of the #SensMotB (@SensMotB) campaign which to date has raised over $12k for the Sens Foundation! With all this completed in one season there really was no close competition for the Hart Memorial Trophy.

Vezina Trophy - Awarded to the top Twitterverse blocker
Don Brennan (@SunDoniB)
It's always a close competition between the Ottawa Sun's two Sens writers, but this season Don Brennan came ahead thanks to his "Why is Pittsburgh Penguins' Matt Cooke so interested in Don Brennan's package?" article which probably left him blocking record numbers that night.
James Norris Memorial Trophy - Awarded to the tweeter who best defends his players
Travis Yost (@TravisHeHateMe)
Usually @sens_adnan runs away with this trophy, defending the Sens soft talented players and enigmas. However, this year's team featured none of the above leaving Adnan with nobody to defend. Swooping in to steal the trophy was Travis Yost who continuously defended Erik Condra's position on the team through advanced stats. Despite Condra's lack of offensive ability, Travis proved that he was an integral part of the team and defended him from any who thought otherwise.
Erik Condra: possession driver.

Ted Lindsay Award - Awarded to the outstanding tweeter as selected by the Twitterverse*
Radek Bonk's Mullet (@BonksMullet)
The numbers speak for themselves. RBM gained over 2000 followers this season alone, cementing himself as one of the top Sens tweeters. The Twitterverse has undoubtedly selected him for the Ted Lindsay Award.
@bonksmullet np the year of the bonk continues and i figure its only a matter of time before i go in-house or am killed by fanatics.Lady Byng Memorial Trophy - Awarded to the tweeter who exhibited outstanding sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct with a high standard of tweeting ability
— Travis Yost (@TravisHeHateMe) May 22, 2013
Marc Methot (@MarcMethot3)
Marc Methot has quickly become the top Ottawa Senators tweeter in his first season! He has shown a high standard of tweeting continuously pumping out tweets daily while performing on the ice. He has also shown a willingness to engage with the fanbase exhibiting outstanding sportsmanship. As for gentlemanly conduct, we'll take his word for it!
@sophietsimmons 100% Sophie. I'm a gentleman and I approve. Not a dream crusher. :)William M. Jennings Trophy - Awarded to the top Twitterverse blocker team
— Marc Methot (@MarcMethot3) May 26, 2013
Ottawa Sun - Don Brennan (@SunDoniB) & Bruce Garrioch (@SunGarrioch)
Last season Bruce Garrioch led the way with his "naive" daily blocks leading the Ottawa Sun team to the William M. Jennings trophy. However, this season it was Don Brennan who carried the weight on his shoulders. Nevertherless, it's a repeat performance for the Ottawa Sun team helped along by their cover following the first playoff game.
Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy - Awarded to the tweeter who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey
Stefan G:son (@steffeG)
The guy lives in Sweden! Totally different time zone and language! Yet Stefan G:son has managed to fit right in with all us North American Twitter users and has become the go to Twitter expert for anything Swedish. He has been an invaluable source of information with the Senators organization quickly developing into Team Sweden.
Jack Adams Award - Awarded to the tweeter adjudged to have contributed most to his team's success
James Gordon (@SensReporter)
James Gordon (@SensReporter)
James Gordon has become the face for the Ottawa Citizen on Twitter for all things Sens. Despite his recent promotion to sports editor he is still actively involved in all Sens Twitter conversations. Like Paul MacLean, James knows how to push all the right buttons to make his opponent's look silly.
He also is willing to defend his staff and anyone else from any false accusations (see his timeline for the whole conversation) making him the easy choice for the Jack Adams this season.
Frank J. Selke Trophy - Awarded to a tweeter who best excels in the defensive aspect of Twitter
Gui Latendresse (@thetender73)
Ya, I'm just going to give this to #guyet because of this tweet
@marioch66 more than youNHL Plus-Minus Award - Awarded to the tweeter with the best follower-following ratio during the season
— Gui Latendresse (@thetender73) April 29, 2013
N/A (If you know who this could be let me know)
King Clancy Memorial Trophy - Awarded to a tweeter who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the internet and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community
SensMotB (@SensMotB)
Technically this is Radek Bonk's Mullet's award, but he's gotten too much hardware. Therefore, I've decided to award this trophy to his SensMotB account instead. As mentioned SensMotB has raised over $12k to date for the Sens Foundation!
NHL Foundations Award - Awarded to the tweeter who applies the core values of hockey to enrich the lives of people in his community
Eugene Melnyk (@MelnykEugene)
Eugene Melnyk organizes the Skate For Kids every season and has been personally thanking fans on Twitter for supporting the Sens. I'm glad that he is now on Twitter and can accept this award!
Maurice 'Rocket' Richard Trophy - Awarded to the tweeter with the most tweets during the season
Dew.A (@SensDewie19)
Edit (12:02PM): After multiple nominations, I am proud to announce Dew.A as the winner of the Maurice 'Rocket' Richard Trophy. She has passed the 100k tweet mark putting her in the upper echelon as one of the top tweeters in the league.
Roger Crozier Saving Grace Award - Awarded to the tweeter who follows the most users during the season
N/A (If you know who this could be let me know)
Mark Messier Leadership Award - Awarded to the tweeter who exemplifies great leadership qualities to his team, on and off the internet, during the regular season
Daniel Alfredsson (@DAlfredsson11)
Daniel Alfredsson is nominated for this in real life and should probably win. Even if he doesn't, he at least has the Twitter version instead!
NHL General Manager of the Year Award - Awarded to the top Twitter Manager
Peter Raaymakers (@silversevensens)
Signed the undrafted Radek Bonk's Mullet to an entry league deal which easily paid for itself after RBM created "An NHL Ice Rink Broken Down: Ottawa Senators Edition". Peter Raaymakers had the foresight to sign the Hart Memorial Trophy and Ted Lindsay Award winner before any other blog. It's an obvious choice for him to win the award this season. However, unfortunately for Peter, RBM decided he was too much of a f**kin all-star and demanded a trade to create and manage his own blog.
* Author's note: I was forced to give these two awards to Radek Bonk's Mullet in fear of retribution and being fired from this blog.
** Editor's note: I did no such thing. *puts down the knife*
